The website of the Friends of the Ascension Parish Burial Ground
The dates for working parties for 2024 will be as follows: 10 February, 9 March, 20 April, 8 May, 8 June, 13 July, 10 August, 14 September, 12 October, 9 November, 14 December All working parties are on Saturdays 10am to noon
There will be a working party in the cemetery this Saturday 12 August from 10 till noon. With the recent rain and warm weather there is lots to do, and everyone is very welcome to attend. Tools are provided for volunteers, but do please bring your own if you have a favourite implement. As ever,
Welcome to the new Friends of the Ascension Burial Ground Website. Over the next few weeks we shall be adding pages on the history of the Ascension Burial Ground, information on some of those commemorated there and the range of wildlife to be found in the cemetery.
