There will be a working party in the cemetery this Saturday 12 August from 10 till noon. With the recent rain and warm weather there is lots to do, and everyone is very welcome to attend. Tools are provided for volunteers, but do please bring your own if you have a favourite implement.
As ever, there All volunteers are reminded that they should dress appropriately for work in the burial ground and take care for their own safety and that of others working. In particular, you should wear sturdy footwear since the ground is uneven and there are unseen holes caused by badgers and other wildlife, as well as overgrown gravestones.
Please also bring your own gloves and do not attempt to cut thorny or spiky plants and trees without adequate protection.
